The mesocosms are located within a thermostatic laboratory and consist of 20 aquariums, each with a capacity of approximately 40 litres (30x47x28 cm), featuring transparent methacrylate fronts. These aquariums are organised into two “twin” systems, with each system comprising 10 tanks arranged in two rows (5 tanks per row). Additionally, there are two independent systems dedicated to the maintenance of marine organisms, used for both acclimatisation and quarantine purposes.
