Partner Description

CIBIO-UE is a University of Évora’s branch of CIBIO (Centre for Research on Biodiversity and Genetic Resources), a research platform conducting basic and applied research on the three main components of biodiversity: genes, species and ecosystems. Research at CIBIO-UE is driven by three unifying questions: how did past climate changes affect biodiversity? How might current and future environmental changes affect biodiversity? How can biodiversity be conserved given current and future challenges?
